Henderson - Among the top five fastest growing large cities in the United States, Henderson had a population of about 175,000 in 2000 but a 2004 census estimated the population at about 225,000 and rising. Nellis AFB - Nellis Air Force Base is home of the Air Warfare Center, United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron - the Thunderbirds, USAF Weapons School and Red Flag. Nellis' work force consists of about 10,000 military and civilian personnel, which makes it one of the largest single employers in southern Nevada. The base is situated 8 miles northeast from downtown Las Vegas, in the city of North Las Vegas. Homes around Nellis AFB range from as low as 190,000 to multi-million dollars.


Aliante - Aliante is the one of the newest of the local major planned communities. It is located in North Las Vegas, west of Decatur. Two elementary school sites and a middle school site have been proposed, while sites have been set aside for a fire station, library and commercial development. Planned amenities include an amphitheater, 20-acre "nature discovery" park, 18 hole municipal golf course, two traditional parks, linear parks, soccer and ball fields, picnic areas, and arroyo and trail system. 22% of the land is planned as public space. Prices for new freestanding homes range from $290,000 to $700,000s. Condos/Town homes are available from $185,000s to $250,000s. This is a thriving area for new home sales with growing resale potential.

Spring Valley - Nestled in the foothills just minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip awaits a secluded community with beautiful mountain vistas, lush green fairways and refreshing waterscapes adorning one of the Southwest's premier private golf courses. There are several master-planned communities that offer wonderful new homes, golf memberships, tennis courts, walking trails and more. These homes sell for $300,000 and up.
